“The best teaching is taught by the patient himself”
Sir William Osler

DIPEx International provides a multi-national forum for research into personal health experiences. Members benefit from consultation with others on research projects and on potential sources of funding.
Membership also confirms, through the approval process, the credentials of the research organisation to carry out qualitative research into health experiences. In some cases, members are able to work together on trans-national grant applications.
Members agree to share original data on individual research projects in order to facilitate international comparative research in health experiences.
Each member organisation of DIPEx International uses the DIPEx methodology of health experiences research, developed by the Health Experiences Research Group at the University of Oxford. Member organisations must meet certain minimum quality standards, which can be downloaded here.
Membership is subject to Board approval by the Founding Members. Information on how to apply for membership can be found here.
